Discharge and Penalties

From the League Contract Summary of Selected Articles

  • Employees can only be discharged or suspended for just cause.
  • The Employer is to provide forty-eight hour written notice to the Union of suspension or discharge of an Employee.
  • If the Union decides to contest the discharge or suspension it will give notice to the Employer within five days but no later than ten days from receipt of notice of discharge or suspension.
