This Bush administration is even worse than the first one. The war in Iraq is an atrocity. His appointments to head departments like labor and the interior may as well get paid openly by big business. He's bankrupting the country and doing it through tax breaks for the rich, while cutting back the safety net for the disappearing middle class.
Everything he has done has moved America in the wrong direction. Torture, domestic spying, the Medicare drug plan, And now he wants to renew the cold war with Russia. He is in a bubble, and we have to pop it.
If 1199 doesn't get involved in the struggle to take back Congress, I will be totally disappointed and amazed. There are no ifs, ands or buts; we must be involved!

The Bush administration policy is failing. I’ve seen it coming for some years now. We definitely need new leadership that will support better policies for working people and for the country as a whole.

I am only one person. But with 1199SEIU my opposition to the stripping of my rights as a US citizen and my compassion for those who seek human rights is magnified by an organization I am proud of as an American.

Iraq was never a problem to begin with. Bush benefits from higher gas prices. We need Democratic control of Congress and hopefully in the White House in 08.

I feel that this administration is one of the worst in history. I am appalled at the way it has handled the war, the Katrina victims, gas prices and everything else. I think we should show great support to the Democrats so we can get some order back in the Congress.

We should also be politically involved. We have to let the politicians know who we are and make them aware that healthcare workers are working very hard, if not overworked. We have to let them realize the importance of healthcare in this country.

The Bush Administration has exhibited the highest level of incompetence bar none. It is embarrassing and frightening. Creating a war, destroying social programs, trying to "borrow from"/ destroy Social Security and gut health care, phone taps, elimination of worker rights. Where does this leave our children? Until this administration, I have held a varying degree of respect for the office of President. We ALL need to contribute to our Political Action Fund and win the next election.

We need to see that Democrats are elected to reverse the Republican-run congress. The Republican are making a mess of things. But the Democrats need to be more vocal.

Bush is the first President that made me feel so ashamed of our country. Other people are thinking all Americans must like this idiot to vote him in again. The Diebold voting machines were rigged to put him in office. He has not done anything right so far. Our national debt is a joke, healthcare reform is a joke, our boys are fighting a senseless war. We are fighting the wrong country. Should be Saudi Arabia. That is where the 9/11 terrorists came from, including Osama Bin Laden. Those of us living in Florida must now vote with Diebold machines with no paper trail. Go figure!!!
We gotta get the Democrats in.

We need to support people who support the values of our Union as a whole. Getting us some healthcare funding isn't enough. Senators Clinton and Schumer, for example, have an awful record of enthusiastically supporting the War on Iraq. They support the killing of trade unionists in Colombia and would do the same to us if circumstances were a little different.
This morning I heard the author of Confessions of an Economic Hitman on the radio. He was saying that an Ecuadorian activist had commented that they elected their president on a platform and when he abandoned that platform, democracy demanded that he be removed. So he asked why people in the US don’t do that with Bush. I think we have a long way to go.

The Bush administration is selfish; they are looking out for themselves. Just as the Bible predicted it would be, man will be selfish, greedy, umcompassionate etc. I don’t vote because only god can bring an end to this madness.

I think the Bush administration has shady practices in general but particularly towards middle class America. He is sending our young men to die in a war that has unclear goals and imagined reasons. The administration has taught hate for anyone perceived as different whether we are talking about immigration or sexuality, or caring for Americans in need (Katrina). Now the issue is gas prices which I'm sure is putting money into his pocket directly or indirectly. He should be shamed from office, because he does not have the best interest of the United States in mind.
