Central New York Chapter of the Nurse Council The Central New York Nurse Council of 1199SEIU covers a large geographic area, with nurses in many different facilities. The Central New York Nurse Council ratified its constitution in
January of 2009 and has been meeting on a monthly basis since then. We discuss and take action on issues of importance to nurses, the union, and the community. Central New York nurses have a long history of activism and have frequently participated in nurse organizing campaigns across the country.
